This is a new wall to my blog, but a painting I did of a garage in the snowy winter of Utah in the mid 70's. I was taking a class in watercolor from an incredible artist. He believed when you painted outside and the weather was less than perfect, you needed to become a part of it. So....one day it was snowing lightly when we got to the spot he chose for us to paint. We all got out and set up. By the time we were halfway finished the snow had turned into a near white out and our paper was covered with snowflakes.
He thought that a little bit of the weather we were painting couldn't hurt and may help our artistic endeavors. It actually did for most of us. But to be perfectly honest, it was d_ _ _ cold out there!!
I am linking this post to Cheryl's Writing on the Wall meme.
